We Help Businesses Move Their Money Smarter
FlareNextGen started in early 2024 when three financial consultants realized something odd. Companies in Incheon were still processing invoices by hand, tracking expenses in spreadsheets, and waiting days for basic financial reports.
That seemed wrong. Not because manual work is bad, but because it steals time from actually running the business. So we built a consulting practice focused on one thing: helping South Korean companies digitize their financial operations without the mess.
Started Small
Our first client was a manufacturing company drowning in paper receipts. We spent two months mapping their entire financial workflow before touching any software. That patience paid off—they cut month-end closing from 12 days to 3.
Grew Careful
We don't chase growth for its own sake. Each client gets genuine attention because rushed digital transformations usually fail. By mid-2025, we're working with 23 companies across Incheon and Seoul, all at their own pace.
How We Actually Work
Financial digitization sounds technical, and it is. But the real challenge isn't technology—it's understanding how money actually moves through your specific business. We spend more time listening than implementing.
Map Everything
We document your current financial processes in detail. Every approval chain, every exception, every workaround people have invented.
Find Bottlenecks
Usually there are 3-5 critical slowdowns causing most problems. We identify those first instead of trying to fix everything at once.
Design Transitions
Digital systems need to fit how your team actually works. We build implementation plans that account for real human behavior, not ideal scenarios.
Support Changes
The first three months are bumpy. We stay involved through the adjustment period because that's when most digitization projects fail.
People Behind the Work
We're not a large firm. Just a small group of financial consultants who've spent years fixing broken processes. Most of us worked in corporate finance before this and got tired of watching good companies struggle with bad systems.
Hae-won Rhee
Hae-won spent 11 years in corporate accounting before joining us in March 2024. She's particularly good at explaining complex financial systems in plain language, which matters more than you'd think. Most of our manufacturing clients work directly with her.
Her approach is methodical—she'll spend weeks understanding your business before suggesting any changes. That patience prevents expensive mistakes.
Stellan Viklund
Stellan joined from Sweden in early 2024 after working with several European firms on financial automation. He brings an outside perspective that helps South Korean companies see their processes differently.
He's direct about what will and won't work, which some clients appreciate and others find jarring at first. But his implementation success rate speaks for itself.
Want to Talk About Your Financial Processes?
We offer free initial consultations where we just listen to how your finance team currently works. No sales pitch, no pressure. Sometimes companies just need to talk through their challenges with someone outside their organization.
